Social. With more requests for design and animation, i.e. motion graphics, in a social media context, that can function as both GIFs and embedded video, I decided to put various social projects I've done, in one place.

The Wedding Present. I always enjoy designing and animating music related social media content and I also wanted to exhibit that I really do know how to make those animation curves produce smooth, elegant, animation. You could say this was "inspired" from a another project of mine, that I liked so much, I decided to adapt into a template of sorts. That said, this was a quick personal project to support the 2018 Wedding Present tour. I'm a huge, long time fan of Mr. David Gedge.

#OITNB. Animated gifs for the Orange Is The New Black social media campaign. Heavenspot brought me on board to animate a type design and two illustrations for the OITNB social media campaign. Chevon Hicks designed the type layout and Eric Lamb provided the illustrations. I had a really great time working with Chevon and Eric on this project. The animations were posted as gifs on the OITNB social accounts.

Jeep Wrangler, MotorTrend 2019 SUV of the Year. This is a series of social media spots for MotorTrend’s 2019 SUV of the Year. In terms of design, this was a bit of a continuation of previous short form spots for social that we had done, such as that of Lincoln Aviator.

Performance of Intended Function.
MotorTrend First Look for Lincoln Aviator, 2020. This is also more extensively featured, i.e. with the design boards phase of the project, in my main portfolio. It’s featured here also, as a convenient way to view various Social content I’ve done, in one place. Intro, type design and animation for a MotorTrend / Lincoln Aviator paid promotional partnership. Featured online in 1:1 aspect ratio format for social media. The published online promotion can be viewed here and here. This was a really fun, collaborative project. A big thank you to Mike and Nick, who I really enjoy working with.
